Trip Summary:

Since La Casa opened in May 2002, it has provided 35 children a loving, safe, Christian environment. It has sought to share Christ with them in practical and tangible ways, but has discovered that their needs go much deeper. Due to the children's difficult pasts, the wounds are often hidden and their hearts are full of emotional scars. However, by sharing Christ's love, healing, and hope with the children and their families, restoration is happening. Through La Casa, our teams have an opportunity to create environments to minister to these children in a variety of ways, such as light construction, UpStreet type environments, and opportunities to walk alongside the local church to develop the families of the children.

Qualifications:

We are looking for North Point InsideOut students and small group leaders (a maximum of 20 people) willing to invest their time and energy to be a blessing to those less fortunate in El Salvador.
