Trip Summary:
We can read statistics or watch movies; we can even be overwhelmed to tears at the information about human trafficking. We do not understand poverty that would drive a parent to sell the body of their 10 year old into slavery.
As a team we have an opportunity to respond. This is not a typical viewing of the poverty and the brothels. You will fight trafficking in ways most people never consider...through prayer and service. You can help prevent the cycle of kidnapping and abuse by teaching hope through vacation Bible school programs, by working anti-trafficking seminars, or by teaching English to children that have been abandoned. You can hold the hands and pray with those who have been exiled because they now have AIDS. You will participate in a prayer walk in areas that know nothing about the truth and love of Christ. You can make a difference.
Qualifications:
This team will consist of 6 to 8 mature believers who are willing to pray and serve those considered to be the outcasts of society.
